Treasurer Yvonne Starks reported a balance of $17,952.12. Of the 60 homeowners in the development, only 6 still owe HOA dues.
There is an opening for all additional member on the HOA Board. Anyone interested in filling the position may contact Lynda Miller (843-4491)
There will not be a fall community cleanup. Residents are reminded, however, to clear out storm drains in front of their homes. Fall is also a good time to winterize water pipes and change smoke alarm batteries.
School has started. Please watch for school buses and children when driving through the neighborhood.
There has been an increase in the number of deer, raccoons, and coyote sightings around the neighborhood. Please keep this in mind if you have outdoor animals.
The rocks that are located on the easement west of the railroad tracks will soon be replaced with topsoil and grass. Residents are welcome to help themselves to the rocks for their own use, free of charge.
Alice Calero resigned from the Board effective August 9, 2010. Her concern for the quality of life in our community is greatly appreciated. Thanks for everything, Alice!

The next HOA Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, 18. October.
The next general HOA meeting is scheduled for Monday. January 10, 2011 at 6:30PM in the Roy City Library. Homeowners are encouraged to attend and voice any concerns they might have about issues in our community.

The McKenna Meadows Homeowners general meeting

Reports
Secretary report- Minutes read and approved from 25Jan10.
Treasures report- Balance was 22,459.01 as of end of March 2010. Treasure reviewed all outgoing expenditures. 2010 budget is attached to minutes.
ACC report- Homeowners with ongoing major landscaping will have projects completed by August 2010. Also all homeowners reminded that per bylaws are to submit landscaping, painting and other exterior home improvement projects to the committee prior to starting.
Old Business
Process of how dues are assessed and how association money is spent was discussed and CCR’s were reviewed as related to this matter.
New Business
Fence for preserve was hit again and damaged. Awaiting police report (will be mailed in 15 days) to see if the individual who hit the fence as insurance. Two bids have been obtained thus far and awaiting third bid.
Review of the Community Forum at Baydo’s as related to increased crime in rural
Safe Street meeting on May 12th at
Homeowners made aware of increased activity (teenage drinking and vandalism) at the foreclosed farm at the end of 295th. The property also has a trash problem and rats. Homeowners encouraged to voice concerns of safety to Pierce County Sherriff Dept. and sanitation issues to the Pierce County Health Dept.
Discussion with ongoing dirt bike noise, gun shots and possible risk of fire by trespassers on adjoining property discussed. A homeowner will be drafting a letter and be coming by door to door for signatures and then letter will be sent to the landowner.
Homeowners expressed desire for replacement of faded and missing stop signs. This will be voted on a next meeting. Please be present for the vote or send in your proxy vote seven days prior to next business meeting.
Current contractor for common area landscaping as stopped service. If homeowners are interested please contact a board member. Treasure will be taking bids and plan to replace landscaping contractor as soon as possible.
Upcoming Events
Community Clean up date is April 24 at 1000.
Community garage sale will be June 26 and if homeowners are going to participate they need to obtain garage sale permit from city of

Board member is checking with the conservation dept. on getting new signs for the

supplier and best price for our needs.
Reminder to homeowners
When you have visitors they must park in your driveway or on the street in front of
your home. NO parking on the grass. This is causing homeowners to put up
barriers to prevent their property from being parked on. This has become an
eyesore for our neighborhood.
A message from your Architecture Committee
Please remember to submit all plans for improvements to the ACC and allow time
for a response. They try to give an immediate response although per the ACC’s
they do have 30 days.
