The McKenna Meadows Homeowners Association (HOA) General Meeting took place on Monday, 10 January, 2011 at 06:30 P.M. All board members were present. Current board members are:

A total of seven people attended the meeting (including the five board members), representing six homes.
Secretary’s Report: The minutes from the last general meeting were read.
President’s Report: There are no elections of new officers or board members as none of the current officers/board
Members’ terms are due to expire.
Treasurer’s Report: As of 31 December, 2010, there is a balance of $19, 243.70 in the HOA account. Money still owed for 2010 totals $2,301.03. Of this amount, $491.50 in unpaid HOA dues; $1,357.11 in attorney fees: $293.11 in late fees: $159.11 interest. There are still four homeowners who continue to pay on their 2010 dues .They should be paid in full by the end of this year. As of 10 January, nineteen homeowners have paid their 2011 dues. The budget for 2011 is still being completed. Barring any unexpected circumstances, expenses for 2011 should not exceed those of 2010.
Old Business: Speed bumps will not be installed on any of the streets in the neighborhood, as the asphalt on the streets is too thin and cannot sustain the stress caused by the bumps.

New Business: Sherrie Lee volunteered to fill the vacant seat on the HOA Architectural Board. Other board members are Earlene McGuire and Jorge Calera. Thanks, Sherrie!
Beginning in March, bids will be accepted for the contract to maintain the common areas in the neighborhood. Anyone interested can contact Lynda Miller or any board member.
Residents are reminded that before painting the outside of their homes, they must submit a letter of intent and paint colors to the Architectural Board.
Greg Weller requested that residents be made aware of his house painting services (360) 459-3316.
Residents are reminded to keep an eye on the storm drains on their property and clear them of leaves and debris to prevent flooding.
The annual HOA Spring Clean Up is scheduled for Saturday, 14 May, 2011 at 9:30 am. It sure would be nice to see some interest and participation on the part of more residents.
The next HOA Board meeting is Monday, 7 February, 2011 at 6:30 pm.
